The 2024 election result shows how good a brand Modi is and my analysis on this 2024 Lok Sabha election

The outcome of the situation is being perceived by many as a setback to Modi’s leadership and a decline in his overall reputation, however, I view it as a remarkable triumph of one individual against the combined strength of the entire opposition, representing the INDI Alliance, which included Muslims, Christians, Left parties, and Secular Indians. Despite facing immense opposition, this lone individual stood firm against all these forces. I have jotted down a few points that showcase the present and also the direction for the future :

1) The significant presence of caste politics, along with the combined voting power of Muslims and Christians totalling over 20 crores out of a total of 65 crores eligible voters, highlights the impact of demographic factors on the electoral process. The fact that a substantial percentage of voters have chosen to support this particular individual reflects positively on his brand image and suggests a shift away from traditional patterns of caste and religion-based voting.
2) This trend indicates a growing awareness and willingness among voters to move beyond divisive factors such as caste and religion, focusing instead on the qualities and policies of the candidate. It also underscores the changing dynamics of Indian politics, where voters are increasingly prioritizing issues over identity politics, thereby signalling a potential shift towards a more inclusive and issue-based electoral landscape. This is a good sign of Voting pattern in India.
3) Churches and Mosques in India serve not only as places of worship, but also as significant political centers. They play an active role in motivating and guiding their followers to vote against certain individuals or in favor of specific political parties. However, the situation is quite different in temples. For centuries, temples have solely been dedicated to prayer and worship, devoid of any speeches or encouragement to vote for a particular party. It is imperative that this scenario undergoes a transformation in India.
4) The influence of churches and mosques in Indian politics is undeniable, as religious leaders often use their platforms to sway the opinions of their followers. This can have a significant impact on election outcomes, as the religious community is a powerful voting bloc in the country. However, the lack of political involvement in temples is a missed opportunity for political parties to connect with a large segment of the population. By encouraging temples to become more politically active, parties could potentially reach a wider audience and gain more support.
5) The role of churches and mosques in Indian politics has been a topic of debate for many years, with some arguing that religious institutions should stay out of political affairs altogether. However, others believe that these institutions have a responsibility to guide their followers in making informed decisions at the polls. Regardless of one’s stance on the issue, it is clear that the current disparity between churches, mosques, and temples in terms of political involvement is a complex issue that requires careful consideration and potential reform. Even this will change in coming years.
6) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had never been successful in securing a single seat in Kerala since its formation. However, in the recent election, the party has finally made its mark by winning a Lok Sabha seat. It is worth noting that winning a Lok Sabha seat is equivalent to winning approximately 6-8 assembly seats, which is a significant achievement. This victory marks a new beginning for the BJP in South India and is likely to bring about numerous changes in the future. Given that Kerala has been predominantly influenced by Leftists, Muslims, and Missionaries, this unexpected outcome comes as a complete surprise to these groups
7) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should take note of this situation and analyze it as a potential case study in order to increase their number of seats in future elections. In Rampur, a village located in Uttar Pradesh, there are over 500 houses with a population consisting entirely of Muslim voters. Despite the fact that these individuals have availed themselves of the benefits provided by Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives such as Ujjwal Joyana and Awas Yojana, none of them cast their votes in favor of Modi or the BJP. This highlights the fact that no matter how much welfare is provided to certain communities, it may not necessarily translate into electoral support. Instead, the BJP should focus on catering to the needs of and providing benefits to their core voters to secure a stronger position in the future.
